I miss it.

I've been reading all of the DDC convention reports and I miss that con so bad it hurts.

A couple years ago, I made the choice to focus more on writing career conventions. That's worked out well for me. But now, I'm beginning to think the tide has turned again and what I need is my friends. My freelance writing career is so busy that I have to turn away paying work.

If I weren't at WorldCon this year, I'd be at Conquest. I think it is time for me to return to DDC and go to a convention just for fun again. I miss that. I miss my friends. I miss it all so much.
