The slushpile for the Edge of Propinquity for this month was surprisingly off theme this month. 40% of the stories I read weren't even on theme or setting. 40% were poorly written or boring. 20% were interesting enough to warrant a second look. Still, I'm frustrated at the lack of "on theme" stories. I may have to read my submission guidelines and see how I can make them more clear.
