Apparently I have a thing...

While Jeff and I were talking about my latest short story, The Cost of Job Security, we discovered that I apparently have a thing for writing stories where locations and non-living things eat people. In The Cost of Job Security it is a mall. In other stories, it has been a condo, a hole in the ground, blackberry bushes, shadows and clothing in a boutique.

I still need to have a car, a hospital, a movie theater, a hotel, and a gas station eat someone in a story.

In other stories, I have also had a half wolf/half monster, a troll, Red caps, a Sasquatch-like monster, humans, and a Wendigo eat people.

Yeah. It's a thing.
