Well. That was fun. Not.

I just spent the last four hours updating my computer with all of the latest patches and such because my Excel program has decided that it must reinstall a single file every time I open it. So, instead of four hours of tech writing, I was backing everything up and getting all patched up. You know what? Excel is still doing the same darned thing and I've discovered that my computer won't download the Windows Office 2003 update which could be the problem. I'm going to try one more time and give up. It's a good thing I keep my software discs on hand.
