*First, determine if your fabric is water repellant (has a finish)
*Use liquid dye (acid type) (2 bottles) instead of powder. The liquid will dye your fabric better.
*Set your washing machine to the hottest wash cycle possible.
*Add dye to the water first, then the crinoline slip.
*Agitate for 30 minutes. (This means you'll have to keep an eye on it and reset it half way through)
*Allow it to go through the rinse cycle.
*Hang dry (it may drip and stain anything under it)
*If you washer has become dyed also, then run it through the wash cycle with detergent and a cup of bleach.

Some of the fabric may dye darker than others depending on the type of fabric it is, other parts may dye lighter.
