I have to say that being the editor and chief cat herder as well as a writer for The Edge of Propinquity is a lot of work. We're in our third year and sometimes I get discouraged about the whole process.

Today is not one of those days. Today, I went through all of the stories for this upcoming issue and I was mighty pleased with what I saw. Seriously. My authors did a really good job this month. They always do a good job but this month, they were exceptional in their storytelling.

In light of the recent slushpile disappointments, this has been a real joy. For that, I am thankful.
