Kittens: A Sign of the Apocalypse!!

It is a sign of the apocalypse. I'm sure of it. I would not believed it if I had not seen it.

One kitten, two kitten...

Two kitten, three kitten...

One kitten, two kitten, three kitten...

All in the same kitty condo all at the same time with no one (Esme) growling or snarling the others (Pharaoh and Isis). I was stunned I had to document the sighting.

This, btw, is the kitty condo next to my office chair that you see in the pictures. I set it up that way so I can have kittens next to me while I work and not trying to sleep on my lap. It's worked pretty well. Also, you see the hardwood floor that Jeff put down for me so I don't destroy the carpet. Plus, that comfy chair? It's for the kittens, too. I know. I know. I spoil them. It is just happy coincidence that Jeff likes to hang out in that chair, too.

Conversation with Esme...

Holy crap, Esme!

What? I'm surprised. You all are together. In one spot.

Right there. Pharaoh and Isis.

Oh, I see how it is. You believe if you disbelieve in them hard enough they'll go away? Is that it? Not going to work.

OK. See you later.

So cute! Cuuuute!

I like to have my kitty within arm's reach of my chair, too, just not in my lap. It's not that I'm spoiling her, it's that I'm making snuggling more convenient for me!

I think in this case, Esme didn't have a good grasp of the tactical situation.

This reminds me of a trip to the vet once. I had the cat in a carrier, the vet had two adolescent long-hairs running loose in the waiting room. One jumped on top, the other one walked up to the cage door at the front of the carrier. All that could be heard from inside was steady hissing... :)
