Conversations with the kittens

Oh, hello Isis.

Yes, you are cute but I'm working right now.

No, it isn't time to play the "jump on Mom's shoulder" game.

Repeat x 5.

Oh, all right. Just a couple of pets.

No, you cannot shove your head up my nose. Really. It won't fit. I promise.

Yes, my chest is comfy and soft. Jeff likes it too but I really don't want you making a habit of sitting there. Right now, you're only three pounds or so and you fit. In a year, you'll be at least 11 or 12 pounds and it won't be comfortable.

I don't care if Esme does it. I'm usually laying back on the bed or on a chair and not ... oooof!

Ok. Playtime is done. I have to work.

No, down.

Down, down, down, down, down! Don't make me get the squirt bottle!

Ok. Thank you.

Oh, hello Pharaoh.

Yes, you are cute but I'm working right now.

Hahaha! How true!

I got some really weird snuggles yesterday; I was leaning back in the chair; Fish was in my lap, with her butt in the air. It slowly levitated until it was in my face, then she turned upside-down and stuck her head in my crotch. She started thwapping me in the face with her tail, purring MADLY. And you know, she was so HAPPY I couldn't bring myself to make her get down.

We really are human servants.

Mine used to have this trick, he would wait until I'm on the floor reading. He would step in front of me cross-wise and by arching his back, take measurements. He would move forward rubbing my nose in the entire length of his tail.
