Local costume makers

I am looking for professional local costume makers for a Renaissance costume. Can any of you give me recommendations for a professional, reliable costume maker in the Seattle area? I am willing to travel between Tacoma and Everett as needed. A website or portfolio is a plus.

Talk to Wolfcat and/or her friend Molly. Both do amazing work.

It's worth asking Fearga (who is on my f-list) if she is either available or can recommend someone. Her work is exquisite and she's a grown-up honest-to-goodness professional.

There's a vintage costume rental shop right by my place, but I don't know if they do the costume-making too

Melissa Quinn is the lady who did my Nausicaa outfit for Sakura-Con (she takes all kinds of commissions): http://www.faerie-fingers.com/

Maeves Unmentionables is my stop of choice. There are some stock items listed on the site (which is ugly as sin and being redone) however making custom wedding and Renaissance dresses is her bread and butter.
She's based out of Granite Falls, about 20 or so Minutes north of Everett. Though that's a little bit outside of your listed geographical range, I'm sure something could be worked out if it, uh... works out.

*phbt* Ren_wench beat me to it.

Molly's in Kent and I'm in Tacoma and we can help you out. You've seen some of the stuff we've done at Norwescon, and we both do Renaissance costumes for our other hobbies (SCA/Ren Faire/Seattle Knights).

I just added you to my YIM. I'd love to chat with you about all this.
