Feel better? Ok.
So, Esme is my long haired part Maine Coon adult feral rescue cat. About once a year, in the spring, I get her shaved or cut VERY short. This is as much for my comfort as hers. When she starts blowing her undercoat, it's a mess: cat hair and hairballs everywhere. It's dirty and icky.
On the third hair ball in less than a week - despite the hairball control treats, food and gels - I called a new grooming company:
This is a very nice guy, Alexander Emerald, who comes to you and has a grooming station in his trailer. He does excellent work. Though Esme did take a bite out of him, she was done in less than 90 minutes with no car ride. She was one heck of a lot less traumatized and she looks great.
I'm giving Comfy Kitty and Alexander Emerald high marks and putting him on my "Highly Recommended" list (that someday I will post). If you are in the Seattle area and need your cat groomed, this guy is worth every penny.
