I just saw a commercial for the implantable defibrillator that I worked on in 1998! Yes. I went from QAing video games to testing implantable defibrillators. Obviously, they were very different experiences. I worked on only one tiny subroutine and 90% of the QA was documenting everything I did to prove that one subroutine worked correctly. It's nice to see something as lifesaving as an implantable defibrillator that I worked on out on the market.
