The THING: 15,250 / 61,000 = 25.0%

I finished the splat of this second section this weekend. 7000 words. The bulk of it was done today. I spent almost all day doing nothing but writing and eating.

Frantic writing. Stress eating. Great combination, eh?

Between that and my cycle, I don't think I'm even going to bother to get on the scale tomorrow. I think I'm just going to try to be good next week and work out more.

I'm not going to turn this section in until probably Wednesday. I want time to polish, tighten and tune the words.

Then, I have a fun, short section of 5000 words that I'm probably going to overwrite by a lot. I like writing world myths and creation stories; especially when I get to write on a single event from two different cultures' points of view.

I'm still on track for making my deadline. I need to average about 1200 words a day to make it.
