The Saga Continues

I have the new MacBook. It is VERY pretty. I'm attempting to transfer important data from my iBook to it using the update utility. I rebooted iBook into "T" mode. MacBook refuses to see it. iBook decided it had enough of this shit and now won't turn on at all. No one who knows anything about Macs is answering their cell phone. So, I turn to you LJ land... Thoughts? How do I get iBook to boot again?

And, does anyone know what the heck is going on with the system time for LJ?
