Things I Learned Last Night...

I learned I made a good purchase. Last week, I bought these boots from online.

I was prepared for them to suck because I bought them online at one-third the list price from Leather Up. They did not suck. At all. I've worn them off and on for the last week, breaking them in. I wore them all night last night. They are very durable and comfortable. I walked the 3/4 mile to the club and back with minimal discomfort. This morning, my heels are a little sore and my right foot is sporting an impressive blister in a surprisingly inoffensive spot on my ring toe when it comes to my regular shoes. So, while I'm going to have to be careful for the next week or so when wearing these boots, I'd have to say they are a lot more broken in than they were.

Leather Up is a quality place at inexpensive prices to buy leather if you are willing to buy leather without trying it on first.

I learned that djeternaldarkne and I have the same taste in gaming geekery. This is a very good thing in my book.

I learned that the_vogue sells a very agreeable Riesling and three glasses is my limit if I have that 3/4 of a mile walk back to my car and I want to drive home that night. I still find it weird that hard alcohol does very little to me but wine puts me over the edge so easily.

I learned that anricat's band the Machine in the Garden has a sound I really like. I've just ordered their CD Shadow Puppets. This is another one of "Jennifer's Recommends."

I learned that hanging out in the DJ booth with Doug and friends is a heck of a lot of fun.
