BPAL Reviews

Previous BPAL Reviews

Scent: Fenris Wolf
Description: The raw, untamable power of chaos. Rosewood, amber, red musk and a dribble of red sandalwood.
Thoughts: This was one of the extra freebie imps that had been tossed into my BPAL order. So, I didn't even know what the scent was supposed to be. I put it on this morning without checking. My mistake. This scent is really strong and masculine on me. It was spicy in the bottle with what I thought was cinnamon. Nope. I really don't like sandalwood at all. Even after hours on my skin, the sandalwood scent sticks to me like glue. Bleh.
Buy: No!

Scent: Haunted
Description: A mournful, poignant scent, thick with foreboding. Soft golden amber darkened with a touch of murky black musk.
Thoughts: OMG, this is a stalker in scent form. There's something sweet and nice about it in the bottle with a hint of a warning. On my skin, the sweetness is there still but there is an undercurrent of corruption and twisted emotion. The scent is distracting. I keep getting the interestingly darkened sweet that draws me in more. I constantly smell my wrist. Occasionally, I get a sharper almost but not quite unpleasant smell. I love this scent!
Buy: Yes! 5ml

Scent: Hellcat
Description: A soft, sensual, luxuriant blend with a wicked bite: hazelnut, buttercream, honey mead, rum and sweet almond.
Thoughts: It didn't smell too bad in the imp. Just very sweet. As soon as I put it on, the rich, buttery hazelnut scent came on strong. This is unfortunate since I've discovered I don't really like most "food" scents on me. I keep thinking that someone burned a cookie near me. Hazelnut is good to eat. Not good to wear.
Buy: No.

Scent: Hell's Belles
Description: Sweet, smoky and sensually wicked. A thick, steamy scent, truly sinister in its voluptuous sexuality. The perfume of a demon's favored consort, or of the devil herself. Oleander with wet, sweet mandarin, lush magnolia, a rush of deep musk and a touch of spice.
Thoughts: This was one of the extra freebie imps that had been tossed in with my BPAL order. I didn't know what the scent was, so I was cautious. Oddly enough, the scent is very generic on me. It smells like a strong soap. It's neither sweet nor spicy. It is a mostly clean scent with a touch of perfumed additive. Definitely not to my taste. If I want this scent, I'll use a scented soap.
Buy: No.
