The Scatterbrained Muse

Ah, yes. It has begun, hasn't it? As soon as I get a new writing contract and start shifting myself in to author mode, other story ideas pop out of the woodwork and beg to be written. (It's that whole thing about wanting to write on anything but what you are supposed to write on. There is nothing that makes me more creative than a writing assignment.) In fact, two more Kendrick stories presented themselves to me this morning on the way to work that turn Julie's story with the House of Hands into a short story trilogy about loneliness, loss, acceptance and finally love.
