Reason #53 I love my house and Seattle

Last night, around 11pm, when I headed to bed, I discovered that there was a lightening storm going on. It was too far away (or something) for me to hear thunder. But, it was perfect for me to flip my pillows to the foot of the bed and watch the storm through the skylight in my bedroom. Soon, I realized that the storm was coming closer as I started hearing the thunder with the lightening. I fell asleep briefly to wake up to a raging storm with heavy raindrops beating against the windows and the lightening right overhead. It was oddly soothing to me. Soon, I drifted off to sleep again.
