"If you..."

1. ...owned a restaurant, what kind of food would you serve?
I would like to own a café. One that sells good coffee, excellent shakes and exotic teas. One that sells homemade sandwiches and soup with pastries to die for. The kind of café that has a couple of big dining room tables with comfy chairs, a few smaller tables for more intimate conversations and firm couches lining the walls next to outlets for laptops.

2. ...owned a small store, what kind of merchandise would you sell?
I would like to own a metaphysical curio and used book store. Something that has some interesting and rare items - both in books and objects. A store that has its own friendly cat or two. Open late with reading areas. Ideally, it would be right next door to the café.

3. ...wrote a book, what genre would it be?
Been there. Done that. Still doing it.
Completed (Ok, they need editing): A Forgotten Realm novel, an erotica novel and a Space Opera action adventure.
In the works: A book of short stories about Kendrick, a book collecting all of the Tales of the Hucked Tankard, a surreal fantasy that I still have to decide who the audience is for it and the second part of that Space Opera action adventure.

4. ...ran a school, what would you teach?
I wouldn't want to run a school. Not my thing. But, teach... I would like to teach classes on mythology, fairy tales and legends and/or a class on the short story and how to get it published. Or maybe a class on interpersonal communication.

5. ...recorded an album, what kind of music would be on it?
I would like to say it would be eclectic. Something like Tori Amos meets Heather Alexander with a bit of Evanescence tossed in for good measure.
