My god, have you ever picked up an old story with the intention to see how much editing it would need to be ready for publication and discovered that it really needed to be rewritten from scratch? I just did that. I've been pondering my Pangborn Nomads story for a rewrite from a normal adult series to young adult series. It got stalled half way through and I figured, a more simple rewrite for the YA audience might do the trick. But, this, this is just bad. I would have to start from the beginning again and rip out a whole lot of crap. It makes my fingers itch to not immediately jump into it, but I have Lori's birthday celebration to go to tonight.
