Surprise! It's snow!

Holy Toledo! It's snowing. Or, er, it snowed in Redmond last night! I saw a good two inches of snow on the cars not parked under a carport this morning and that was after it had been raining/slushing for a while. What the heck happened to "It doesn't really snow here. Maybe once in January or February."? It's snowed twice already and they think it is going to do the same tomorrow night. My co-worker pointed out to me that it also doesn't go for 2-3 months without rain here either. So, because of the freaky summer, we have to expect a freaky winter. Still. It's cold! I do have my brand new, really warm, wool pea coat now but I can't find my gloves anywhere. Also, this is tweaking my paranoia nerve. I think I'm going to stop by the store on the way home to stock up on canned goods and water.
