I should never be allowed to go to Bed Bath & Beyond unsupervised. I went there for only two things: plate hangers and coasters. I left there with only one of them: plate hangers - and a whole lot more stuff. In addition to the hangers, I also bought:

  • Seat cushions for the dining set - thinking of Mom's visit
  • Two chenille throws for the living room - rose and ivy
  • A set of steak knives - much needed on the Atkins diet
  • An electric toothbrush - an impulse buy
  • A pot scrubber - practical and needed

  • I still need the coasters to protect my glass top desk but, for now, I'm going to have to make do with just napkins because I'm afraid of my new found shopping habits. I know I'm feeling lonely and I'm in nesting mode but this is getting a bit out of hand. Plus, I know I'm going have to buy a set of nice paintings/prints or a large tapestry for the long wall in the living room and that's not going to be cheap.
