New Music!

The radio failed us this morning. So, Casey put on the CD player... after cycling through the classical stuff, we came upon an artist I had never heard before. Casey told me that it was Ashia, a local artist that Mary found for him.

Very cool stuff. She is very diverse. Sometimes, her voice reminds me of Sade. Sometimes of Alanis Morrisette. Sometimes of Sheena Easton. Most of her stuff is fairly normal rock/pop with a good beat and interesting lyrics. However, some of her stuff is really funky with either an almost Arabic or Gypsy feel to it. Those songs (Let You Go and This Gypsy Soul) are definitely my favorite.

My walk is done... it was hard but fun with Def Leppard's Hysteria and the weights.

Oh, yes! My small triumph for the day. I grabbed a pair of jeans from the drawer and put them on. I thought they were my normal jeans. However, I noticed that they were slender around the ankles and realize that these couldn't be my 'fat' jeans cause those are boot cut. I was like, "Hey, wait a minute... what jeans are these??" Turns out, I had put on my 'skinny' jeans and they fit just great!! *cheer*
