BTiLC Crackerjack Timing

The first thing I did this morning was to reset my alarm clock to 8am. For someone who has been setting their alarm for 6:05 for many, many years, this is (to paraphrase) one small step in routine, one giant step for me.

I have no fear. Just anticipation. 3pm cannot get here fast enough.

The fear will come later. For now, I'm on the edge, enjoying the view.
I am not a Number Paroled

You know, some people call this 'unemployed.'

Done getting a paycheck, you mean.

I'm working for me now!

Don't forget your co-author just changed the IC timeline and you already have to do rewrites.

*ahem* Excuse me. [Bags, tags, gags and stuffs that little voice in a closet.]

So, yes. I'm very happy. However, yes, I do have to do a rewrite on a previously submitted piece on the THING due to a major shift in the fictional timeline. I need to get the rewrite and this current section done by Saturday night. There is a LOT of writing in my immediate future. It certainly makes the beginning of my Writing Year exciting.

P.S. Thank you for all the well wishes, emails and text message! It means a lot to me.
