Nepotism Net Again

But not for me. This time, it is for the little deli café right next to my work that I go get coffee at called Cafe Aura. They need help at all of their locations desperately. Locally owned, their hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday through Friday. I have no idea what they pay. I do know if you aren't in the Symetra location, you are pretty much left alone to run the store with one or two other people. The Kirkland location, the one that I go to, need only counter people - making coffees soups and sandwiches. The Symetra location apparently has a full kitchen as is looking for cooks/back kitchen help as well as counter help. I don't know what they pay and I don't think they give benefits. But, it is a very steady job with steady hours and, according to the people who work there, it's a fun job. If interested, please look at the website and the employment opportunities.

Previous BPAL Reviews

Scent: Hollywood Babylon
Description: The essence of innocence shattered: glittering Egyptian amber and heliotrope, infused with the sweetness of strawberry and vanilla - dragged into debauch by lusty red musk and a dribble of black cherry.
Thoughts: Sweet and nice. I like it. There is a warmth (probably the musk) to it that helps tone down the sweet. It would probably make a good character scent.
Buy: No.

Scent: Juliet
Description: Sweet pea with stargazer lily, calla lily, heliotrope, honeysuckle, white musk and a touch of fresh pear.
Thoughts: Very perfume-like on me with a sharp something I really don't like at all. I'm guessing that's the lily. I'm very surprised at how much I don't like this scent. On the good side, it isn't giving me a headache.
Buy: No.

Scent: Lady of Shallot
Description: The scent of calm waters just before a raging storm, limned with achingly-beautiful blooms, an icy scent, but somehow warm, and mirror-bright: bold gardenia, crystalline musk, muguet, water blossoms, clear, slightly tart aquatic notes and a crush of white ginger.
Thoughts: Nice. Pretty. Sweet. Boring. It goes to powder in about 2 hours.
Buy: No.

Scent: Pannychis
Description: An attendant of the Goddess Venus. She presides over nocturnal pleasure, nighttime festivities, and all the joy and delight that can be found in the darkness. In later ages, it became the name of the all-night festival that closed the Eleusinian Mysteries. Night-blooming jasmine, moonflower, cardamom, sandalwood, black currant, ylang ylang, frankincense and lily.
Thoughts: This was a freebie imp. You know, you would think that I would know better if it makes me wince smelling it the bottle. But, I thought, maybe it would smell better on me. No. This is a scent that smells too sharp and yucky on me. I'm convinced it's the lily.
