Apocalypse Girl

Now I remember why I don't go there. It's way too easy to spend money. However, having a craving for caviar and hearing that Whole Foods had some, my roommate and I headed off. They did, in fact, have some middle tier caviar that was on sale and did in a pinch. Not as good as the other stuff I really like but it was still tasty and was half the price.

Then, there were the cheeses. Oh. My. Goodness. Wow. We picked up some aged parmingiano reggiano for some homemade alfredo sauce we'll be having later in the week and I picked up some aged gouda and some whiskey cheddar. I opened the gouda last night. Just spectacular!

It reminds me, Hans and I were talking about doing a small cheese and port tasting party soon. Anyone interested in that?

I'm PMSing. I'm broken in a few different ways than normal. Shrapnel Warning is in Effect. If you don't believe me, ask britgeekgrrl about some of our infamous yearly arguments. The splash zone on those were large and that's what I'm feeling right now. I think I'm going to have to quarantine myself for a couple of days.
