CA Stonehedge?

I remember once being told about a "California Stonehedge" - as in a circle of stones set up like the original Stonehedge. It supposedly has a whole lot of stories/mysteries about it.

Is this real? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If yes, can you point me at some literature/websites connected with it?

I figure, if anyone knows about it, some of my more esoteric friends on LJ will know. Thanks in advance.
