Patron of the Arts

Is it sad that I really wish I had an old fashioned Patron of the Arts that paid me a regular quarterly stipend? Probably not. It’s probably every creative’s longing—to have a patron to finance their creative endeavors, dedicate their works to, and generally help pay the bills.

I have money coming it. But it’s in fits and starts. Mostly in the pause stage. It’s nice to know I have money that will (hopefully) eventually get here. But, it’s not helping now when I have bills, holidays, and birthdays to think about.

Being a creative is good for the soul but the pay isn’t regular enough to be good for the sanity.
