Procrastination Productivity

I am never so productive as when I am procrastinating. I know I'm not the only person who is. When I don't want to do something, I look for something else that "needs doing" and do it instead—and thus, I feel virtuous. Or at least less guilty.

I suppose this is why I work better on a deadline.

All that being said, I am making a concerted effort to slow down my freelancing projects. I love writing for RPGs and I love doing anthologies but my career thoughts are shifting a bit. I'm ambitious and I have to think and plan on where I'm going next. Plus, I do want to work on some of my own writing. I have a lot of pretty, shiny projects but I've got a new favorite that currently has my heart.

But, of course, I have the novella to finish first.

And then a supplement and an anthology.

And then a web serial.

Then I'm free to do my own stuff. I'm looking forward to it.

(Oh, who am I kidding? I'm going to have three new projects without even noticing.)
