I've been reading a lot for work and pleasure. I tend to hide in books when life gets too rough. In March and April so far, I've read:

Saint Odd by Dean Koontz
Pocket Apocalypse by Seanan McGuire
Owlsight by Mercedes Lackey and Larry Dixon
The Torn Soul by Dylan Birtolo (AIP)
The Inexplicable Universe: Unsolved Mysteries by Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Horrorstor by Grady Hendrix
On Writing by Stephen King
ScareScapes: Phantom Limbs by Jake Bible (Blurb)
ScareScapes: Systems Failure! by Jake Bible (Blurb)
Crusade by Peter M. Ball (AIP)
Hot Lead, Cold Iron by Ari Marmell
Currently: The Stand by Stephen King - Comfort reading.

What do you read when the going gets tough?

I have a tendency to go back to "old friends" and re-read them. Anything in Valdemar is good. The Miles Vorkosigan stuff. Honor Harrington. The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress. The old BattleTech novels (Wolves On The Border is an especial favorite). The first three books in the Cassandra Kresnov series by Joel Shepherd (I recommend you try at least the first book, Crossover)
